Damn, But My Site is Ugly and/or Broken

There were enough things wrong that I didn't really feel like leaving the old style alone, and I don't really enjoy the idea of using someone else's prebuilt them. But I seem to have royally disturbed some sort of natural order with this design.

I mean, seriously. I need to change this theme before someone sees it and gets me fired from my job. The text is impossible to read, the background I loved at noon today now offends the eyes. The only positive takeaway from this is that I love the Candara font. It reminds me of the font from the golden age of Squaresoft - the one they used in FFT and Vagrant Story.

Man, those were good days.

Wonder if Parasite Eve 3 is still mobile phone only...

Edit: Well, now it's not ugly, but it's broken.

Edit 2: Websites today have too many damn divs. It takes far too much effort to figure out what's broken when something goes wrong. Rant rant rant. I'm not sure if I blame poor standards compliance or poor standards. Remember the days when you could throw up an img tag and an image would show up? Sure it had a 2 pixel blue border, but still.

Actually, I just figured out who I blame for this mess. Who's in charge of the "float" property?
